Engine and Transmission
A 392 horsepower 5.7-liter V8 engine powers the Wagoneer, which is coupled to a 48-volt hybrid system and comes with cylinder deactivation for more fuel-efficient operation. The Wagoneer comes standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission, but there is the ability to add a four-wheel drive to your order if you want more than the standard rear-wheel drive.
Adding a four-wheel drive, you will have three different systems to select from. Additionally, an adjustable air suspension feature can raise the Jeep a further 3.6 inches off the ground. The 2022 Jeep Wagoneer also comes with several standard driving-assistance features such as lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and pedestrian detection.
Interior and Comfort
This Wagoneer comes with a spacious three-row cabin, which can seat up to eight unless you opt for a second-row captain’s chair, which will reduce the seating capacity to seven but make the ride more comfortable for them. The Series II can also be equipped with the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow Package and a Rear-Seat Entertainment Group. Adding the Premium Group will add 22-inch alloy wheels, a cargo shade, a sunroof, and adjustable roof rail crossbars. If you have the 4×4 format, you can select the Advanced All-Terrain Group, which includes an 18-inch alloy wheel upgrade with all-terrain rubber, an air suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, skid plates, a two-speed transfer case, a 3.92 rear axle ratio, and a removable tow hook.

The next trim in the Wagoneer lineup is the Series III.
